The Employee Free Choice Act levels the playing field for workers trying to Organize a Union.

For many years workers trying to organize have fired for their efforts and organizing campaign have drug on for years, and all that happens is management receives a slap on the hands and has to put up a notice that they won’t do it again.

Health Insurance Reform

The Senate will soon be taking up Health Care reform. A part of this reform would be a public plan that people could opt into or that the uninsured could enroll in. this bill would also require employers to pay a portion towards employee’s health care. We believe that the public plan is an integral part of total reform. There is a movement out ther to start taxing you health care insurance as income.
