The NAPE/AFSCME Elections Committee (Mike Zgud – DHHS Retired, Chair) has counted the ballots for our biennial Board of Directors Elections and the results are below. The new Board members will be sworn into office on June 10, 2023. A runoff election will be required for Eastern Area, Western Area, NDOT and State College Representatives because candidates did not secure a majority of votes cast.
Additionally, due to a printing error on one of the initial ballot styles, the election committee has decided to re-run the Lincoln Area Representative election along with the runoff election.
Members eligible to vote in the Lincoln Area and run off elections will receive ballots in the mail in early April. Ballots must be returned no later than May 1.
