Grand Island Area Meeting

Dear Grand Island Area State Employees,
No matter which agency you work for, NAPE is your union! We have been growing and organizing to give employees represented by our contracts more power in the workplace.
I took over as NAPE Executive Director in March. I’m excited to report that we have added over 300 new members to our union in the past year. We want to keep that momentum moving forward as we prepare for contract negotiations next year. Employees in the South Central Nebraska are just as important to me as those in Lincoln and Omaha!
I will be visiting Grand Island on August 26, 2019 and I’d like to invite you to join me at Valentino’s from 5:30-6:30pm. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided by NAPE, and I’ll take some time to tell you about our plan for future contract negotiations, how you can get involved, and the benefits of union membership. Most importantly, I’d like to listen to your suggestions on how we can best represent you. All employees are welcome, so please invite your colleagues.
