Peru State College Meeting

Dear Peru State College Employees,
NAPE is your union! We are made up of members just like you, and we negotiate wages,
benefits, and working conditions. We advocate for legislation that will benefit our members and
the citizens of Nebraska. We were founded in 1972 and represent over 8,500 State of Nebraska
employees. With your active participation, we can impact change at Peru State and beyond.
We would like to invite you to a NAPE meeting on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6-7pm at
the Peru Masonic Lodge in downtown Peru. Whether you are a NAPE member or not, we would
love for you to attend the meeting as we discuss a number of topics affecting life as an
employee at Peru State.
We will do a short training session on the Family/Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The FMLA is often
misunderstood, and we will help you understand your rights under the law.
