The tentative agreement with the State of Nebraska on a new contract has been ratified by all bargaining units. The new contract will be in effect from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. NAPE members attended ratification meetings throughout December in person and virtually, with an overall voter turnout of 20.99%. Results of the ratification vote were:
Unit A – 100% in favor (26.80% voter turnout)
Unit C – 98% in favor (20.04% voter turnout)
Unit E – 100% in favor (50.00% voter turnout)
Unit H – 100% in favor (7.89% voter turnout)
Unit I – 100% in favor (5.55% voter turnout)
Unit M – 93% in favor (27.56% voter turnout)
Unit S – 100% in favor (12.75% voter turnout)
Unit X – 100% in favor (28.13% voter turnout)
