Nebraska AFL-CIO Legislative Conference March 6 & 7

The Nebraska State AFL-CIO will host its 36th Annual Legislative Conference on Monday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Lincoln at the Firefighters Reception Hall (241 Victory Lane).

The Conference will start on Monday with registration from 8am to 9:30am followed by a morning legislative workshop, lunch at Noon and then an afternoon legislative workshop.  The event on Monday will end with a cocktail reception for conference attendees, State Senators and their staff at the Lincoln Firefighters Reception Hall from 5pm until 7pm.

Tuesday will begin with breakfast at the Cornhusker Marriott Renaissance Room and then attendees will proceed to the Capitol to lobby our legislators.

The AFL-CIO Legislative Conference is an opportunity for NAPE/AFSCME members to learn more about legislation that affects workers and to lobby our state senators on important issues we face in and out of the workplace.

If you are interested in representing NAPE/AFSCME Local 61 at the AFL-CIO Legislative Conference, please e-mail help@napeafscme.org no later than February 6. NAPE/AFSCME will cover the cost of registration and hotel accommodations for ten members on a first come, first served basis.
