3,000 Strong: United Together – For Lunch!

On Tuesday, March 5, NAPE/AFSCME Local 61 will kick off our 2024 contract campaign with the first of more than 30 lunchtime meetings at worksites across Nebraska and virtually that will take place throughout March and April.

At these meetings, we will host a 30-minute lunch where State of Nebraska employees can learn how to get involved to increase wages and better benefits during 2024 contract negotiations which begin in September.

These meetings are open to both NAPE/AFSCME union members and non-members, so feel free to invite your colleagues. Ask your supervisor to flex your lunch period in order to attend. This is a short 30-minute meeting, not a drop-in visit. Boxed lunches will be provided before the start of each meeting.
