Union members have each other’s back, and one important way we advocate for each other is through litigation when it’s necessary to protect our rights. In addition to our high profile remote work case pending before the Nebraska Supreme Court, NAPE/AFSCME has cases pending in the District Court regarding two hour minimum call back pay and shift differential.
Additionally, we have cases pending at the Nebraska Commission of Industrial Relations (CIR) regarding bargaining unit clarification, Department of Education remote work, and Richardson County bargaining impasse. To learn more about these cases and our advocacy work, watch the video below or attend a union meeting in person or online in September or October.
