Pay Raises & New Benefits Start July 1

NAPE/AFSCME union members organized to win pay raises in our new State of Nebraska contract that takes effect on July 1, 2025. Our union has organized over the past four years like never before. Our membership has grown every single month for the past four years, and as a direct result, we’ve had more power at the bargaining table to improve our salaries and working conditions. We won the right to negotiate our contracts in 1987, and with record high membership, we’ve bargained the highest wage increases in state history over the past two bienniums.

While we’re excited about our recent success, we have to keep organizing. Public employees, and the essential services we provide to our fellow Nebraskans, are at risk in our state and federal budgets. If you are not a union member, will you join us today and stand with your colleagues to ensure we have the strongest voice to advocate for ourselves and our neighbors?
