All current certified State of Nebraska union stewards must participate in a required training on our new NAPE/State of Nebraska Contract that will take effect July 1, 2025 to maintain their certification. Stewards can complete required recertification training in one of three ways:
- We will offer identical virtual training sessions on Thursday, June 12 and Wednesday, June 25 from 7-8pm central time. Stewards can attend the training which is most convenient. Register by visiting: bit.ly/recert25
- We will offer an in person training session in Lincoln on Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30pm immediately following our regular 5:30pm union meeting at the Lincoln Firefighter’s Reception Hall (241 Victory Lane).
- Stewards can also satisfy the training requirement by attending our leadership training weekend in Lincoln on Friday, June 27-Saturday, June 28. To register for the leadership training weekend, please visit: bit.ly/napeleadership25
