Our union set a goal to surpass 4,000 union members before we head to the bargaining table this September, and we are closing in on that goal. Now we need your help! Sign up for an incredible week of organizing and involvement to make our membership stronger than ever before we begin contract negotiations.
All NAPE/AFSCME members are invited to join us for our 4,000 Forward Week from July 17-25. Members will participate in a required training in Lincoln, July 17 & 18. From there, we will go out across the state to visit worksites, hand out goodie bags, and encourage potential members to join our union.
Last year, more than 200 members joined our union in July because of the dedication of our volunteers, and we’re committed to breaking that record! In order to do so, we need as many members to volunteer as possible. NAPE will cover the cost of hotels, food, and travel throughout the week, and you can be excused from work without using your vacation or comp time to participate!
