Election Day is November 3, and early voting starts in October. NAPE/AFSCME union members are encouraged to review our voter guide to make informed decisions as we work to elect pro-worker candidates, especially to the Nebraska Legislature.
The NAPE/AFSCME Government Affairs Committee (GAC) interviewed 44 candidates running for elected office. Candidates were asked questions about their candidacy and campaign, the most important issues facing Nebraska today, the state budget deficit, collective bargaining rights, AI use and regulation, turnover of state employees, and procedural questions about the election of committee chairs and filibuster rules.
