This summer, union members elected by their peers will sit across the table from representatives from the governor’s office to negotiate a new labor contract. As we continue our preparations for negotiations, you are invited to attend a town hall meeting to express your thoughts on what you would like to see in our next contract. While only union members have a voice in contract negotiations, all are welcome to attend a town hall meeting.
At the town hall meetings, state employees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts with colleagues and union leaders about their priorities for contract negotiations. Our union membership has grown over 80% in the last three years, and it’s time for us to usr our collective voice and stand firm to negotiate the best contract ever for state employees.
Make your plans to attend a town hall meeting either in person or online to express your opinions on what our priorities should be during upcoming contract negotiations. NAPE will host 24 meetings across the state and online during the months of April and May. All state employees are welcome to attend.
