Our negotiations team was back at the bargaining table all day on Friday, December 16 and made some headway on our priorities, but much work remains as we approach the December 31 deadline to reach an agreement. We are making progress thanks to the action, dedication, and commitment of our membership. In addition to our action days, NAPE/AFSCME members hosted a press conference at the State Capitol calling on the state to #InvestInStateEmployees. If you are not yet a union member, please join us today to send a message to the State that you stand with your coworkers and will not accept anything but a fair contract. More than 70 new members have joined in the last two weeks alone! Become a member and add your voice to our demand for better wages and working conditions. Our negotiations team will be back at the table on Wednesday, and we need you as an active member to get us across the finish line!
