NAPE/AFSCME will host a Volunteer Member Organizer (VMO) training in Lincoln on Saturday, April 6 from 9am-5pm. This is a great opportunity for union members to get involved in helping grow our union to make meaningful changes in the workplace during 2024 contract negotiations.
VMOs are a dedicated group of union members who are trained to educate their fellow State of Nebraska employees about the importance of union membership. We recently met our goal of becoming 3,000 Strong due in large part to our committed group of VMOs who volunteer their time to help grow and strengthen our union.
