Have you been looking for an opportunity to get more involved in your union? Here’s your chance! NAPE/AFSCME members are invited and encouraged to register for a 2026 Leadership Training.
Leadership Training weekends are a unique opportunity for members to hone their knowledge on our contract, sharpen their organizing skills, and step up to become leaders in their workplace. Throughout 2026, there are several Leadership Trainings for members to take advantage of. Whether you’re already a workplace leader looking for a refresher, or you’re ready to take a new step in your union membership, a Leadership Training is the opportunity for you!
First time attendees will complete our initial union steward training curriculum. Returning leaders will participate in advanced training sessions. Each weekend is different for returning leaders, so sign up for as many weekends as you like. NAPE/AFSCME will cover the costs of hotel and meals for attendees.
