Congratulations to NAPE member Deb Owen for being NAPE’s Steward of the Month for January! Deb is an Unemployment Insurance Adjudicator with the Department of Labor in Lincoln and has been a NAPE Member for over 3 years. Through her years with DOL, Deb has strongly represented and advocated for many coworkers through the disciplinary process and has assisted colleagues file grievances when necessary. Deb is also a leader on the newly formed DOL Labor-Management Committee by encouraging other employees to participate, helping establish procedures, and bringing important issues to the new committee. Thank you Deb for your hard work and dedication to NAPE and the State of Nebraska!
