Volunteer Member Organizer Training April 15

NAPE/AFSCME will host a Volunteer Member Organizer (VMO) training in Lincoln on Saturday, April 15 from 9am-5pm. This is a great opportunity for union members who are looking to get more involved to help grow our union and impact change in the workplace.

VMOs are a dedicated force of union members who are trained to inspire, lead, and encourage involvement in our union by signing up new members! A group of members were VMO trained in 2022 and helped lead our successful organizing blitz ahead of contract negotiations in the fall. We will be holding our first ever statewide organizing blitz this summer from July 16-28 (save the dates!). As we continue to grow towards our goal of having 3,000 NAPE/AFSCME members for the first time in our history, we need great VMOs!

If you would like to attend VMO training on Saturday, April 15, please click here to sign up. NAPE will provide breakfast and lunch, as well as a hotel room on the evening of Friday, April 14 if you are traveling from outside of Lincoln. Please sign up by April 4. Space is limited, and seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions, please let us know.
